People’s Emergency Briefing

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. The next step is to take this vital message across the UK, bringing together people from across local communities to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond.

A film summary of this meeting will be shown in Farrington Gurney’s Village Hall on May 17 at 2pm.

The spirit of the film is grounded optimism and is open to everyone.

After the screening, there will be a public discussion of what we can do, as a community, to address this critical issue.

The film follows the Pollinator Party which runs 10 – 2pm.

Coffees and teas will be available before the film begins.

Do come. Bring a friend. Tell your neighbours.
